Originally formed in 1995 by guitarist, lead singer and songwriter Rob-D, the band first began as a punk project called dumb in 1992 before forming Part One Tribe in 1995 evolving into the reggae-infused collective known today.
From humble beginnings on Cape Cod Massachusetts to years of relentless touring across the United States and beyond performing in over 40 states including Hawaii plus they have pulled off multi show tours in the Bahamas, and Jamaica. Part One Tribe has carved out a reputation as one of the pioneering forces of American reggae rock.

Currently there is over 100 original songs available on all digital platforms. Their catalog spans multiple decades of albums and EPs — from early releases like they're debut album "For What It’s Worth" released in 1997 to the smash hit album "Obvious As Ever" released 2009 which is a staple album of reggae rock anthems such as "Perpetrator" and "My Missy" to later works such as the album "To the Edge of the Earth" — released in 2020 to the near full album worth of singles that have dropped since then. Consistently showcasing their growth and musical diversity.
Guided by Rob-D’s vision, Part One Tribe has weathered many lineup changes over the years, yet continues to deliver high-energy live performances and authentic, genre-blending music.
